Winter weekend mornings are made for sleeping in and lounging around. My little guy never sleeps in though and is always the first up, having a yogurt smoothie and reading at the table or watching cartoons. So, when I couldn't sleep, I got up and made German pancakes and fruit. I snagged the recipe from Smitten Kitchen–in which I am smitten by all the glorious foods.
It's been gorgeously chilly outside and kept the snow content on the ground. There's nothing like lazy mornings with good food and family to spend them with.
Happy Sunday!

i was going to ask if you made those...they look absolutely maginificent! are they simple to make?
ReplyDeleteand you're so right -- there's definitely nothing like lazy mornings with good food and family. happy sunday to you!
Those German pancakes are so pretty, I have to give them a try! A lovely winter morning indeed.

Mmmm, your German pancakes (we call them Dutch babies) look so much puffier than mine ever turn out! I just made one this weekend with raspberries cooked in, and man was it good.
