A calm and wait

Today was our first day in a while that we had alarms set and were up bright and early. Everyn and I were anxious to see each other after school. We came home and ate homemade soup and spent a little time in little sister's room. We looked at outfits, rocked in the rocking chair, and admired her little booties. It's an odd calm and wait process right now. So, we enjoy mugs of soup, spend time together, and finish off those last few things on the list.

All our love, little one.

  2. how absolutely lovely :) the waiting is the hardest part.... well weeks 4-6 with no sleep aren't so easy either... hang in there- can't wait to see the little girl that completes your adorable family!

  4. This is so exciting! I'm in my odd nesting phase right now. I'm obsessed with finishing the baby room (even though I know she'll be sleeping in my room for awhile). I've also been thrifting children's books and baby cardigans like mad. It is amazing to me how pregnancy can feel like forever and at the same time go oh so quickly.
